Today was a good day, the postal carrier brought me a new friend P. gigas #2

Advertised as 1.5" I think it's closer to 1.75" but regardless, it was SPUNKY on arrival and bolted right out of the vial - but I was prepared with a catch cup and a 24oz deli cup setup for a non-avic arboreal. A few pics while he/she settles in

This fellow built a really nice dirt curtain and has been MIA for over a week.

I sent it a 4mm roach about a week ago and today the roach is still in there, but it hides in the moss when I try to snag it.

I suspect a molt and tried to take a peek behind the curtain, so to speak. There's a hole at the top that I can look down and see a furry leg but that's it.

Guess we wait.

P. gigas #2 must have molted within the last week because it's been out since yesterday and reacted to a drop of water... she must be ready to feed

obviously she was washing her old suit before donating it, which is very considerate.
