So it's summer here and I've had it up to my neck with mosquitoes!!! I can't get rid of the things! Does anyone have a tarantula-friendly- mosquito- killing method that doesn't involve squashing them?

If you want a repellant here's a tried and trusted recipe
1 part citronella oil
1 part baby oil
1 part dettol or any other liquid antiseptic

mix all 3 ingredients together in a spray bottle and just spray any skin that isnt covered by clothing, be careful around your eyes please.

The way it works is, citronella keeps mozzies away

Dettol is antiseptic if you do get bit

And baby oil helps the skin to absorb the concoction......good luck

Thanks I need as many remedies as I can find. I'll add it to the list.

Vet's Best Mosquito repellent $3.89, non-toxic. I use on myself and pets. Smells awesome.
Ingredients
Active Ingredients: Lemongrass Oil 4.0%, Geraniol Oil (from Citronella plants) 2.0%, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (Plant Derived) 0.36%.
Inactive Ingredients: Water 93.64%.

I also plant marigolds, basil, lavender, bee balm, and citronella in patio planters with great success at keeping the blood suckers away.
