Pets Stores Have no knowledge of Tarantulas! I get Lucky!

I just went to the pet store, and they had tarantulas there and they had rose hairs and a tarantula called Cinnamon Tarantula witch was a Cobalt Blue. There was a brazilian red and white tarantula witch the called it the the green leg tarantula. I have no I idea where they got that name. I asked the worker how much it was and he said it was rare and he said it was $250.00! I told him it was not rare and pretty easy to find. I could buy one off of Swift Inverts for $10.00. I bought it because it was WAY to big for it cage it was in and the worker did not know but it is gravid!!!!!

You see it happening a lot unfortunately. Even folks who keep T's sometimes don't know what they have. I have a guy recently post he had a mature Sun Tiger Pair, but when he sent pics they were juvie B. smithi's! Granted, I am more into terrestrials, so I WANTED the B. smithi's, but he wanted mature Sun Tiger prices!

you bought a gravid N.Chromatus? are you sure it's gravid? and if it is, expect 1000+ slings. Congrats, how aboutsome pics.
