Are male and female from the same brood/breeding pair (mom and pop)?
Since males of most species mature faster than females (nature's birth control to prevent inbreeding/bad genes) does the female of Pamphobetus insignis mature faster than males? I don't keep this species so I honestly don't know...
In your experience, what would a potential future breeder need to do to actually use THIS pair to breed?
I did not breed them only raised them to this point.
Also they all vary in size 2"-2.5
If they are suspect brood mates I slow the male down and power feed females
