I re housed my p mettilca about two weeks about into a bigger enclosure, I'm scared I may have rerohoused to soon. It's made a web in the top at one of the corners, I put some fake vines and a small hide in the bottom. But it has just been staying behind the web it has made at the top. I've released live crickets to try to trigger feeding. Put a pre killed meal worm in its web. Still not eating not sure how I should proceed.

Sometimes after a rehouse it may take your spood a few weeks to settle in and be comfortable. I rehoused my C. Marshalli and she still seems a bit " off" though she has took to her hide which she never did in the old enclosure! Sometimes the extra space may be intimidating to a spider used to a smaller enclosure. Watch her and make sure she has water and the webbing should start to expand out and then you should be good! Patience sometimes is all that it takes.

Do you have a pic of your setup P.metallic are arboreal and you say you have hide in bottom . Maybe piece of cork bark or hollow might be a bit better .-Not a great pic but just as example .

Maybe try hollow or angle a piece of cork bark I would say that hide might be bit to low . Like I said they are arboreal so maybe your tarantula might be trying to tell you something by webbing up there . This only my opinion I suppose it could web up that corner and call it home , When was the last time it molted ?
