Hi all I am new to the forums I hope I am posting in the correct place. I’m just wondering if anyone can help identify my juvenile p Metallica, I think he may be a male judging from pictures I have seen but I am by far no expert so any help would be greatly appreciated. It is about a year old now and around 2 and a half to 3 inches. I know how to sex from moults but this little guy is still quite small so just wondering if anyone can identify from a picture?

Thanks buddy much appreciated, I’m not really sure what I’m looking for when trying to sex without a moult so thought it was worth asking. I’ll assume he is a he but I will try to sex the next moult just to be sure although the abdomen is only about 1 cm at the moment so it may be a bit tricky still. Thanks again

I would vote for male as well.
The little patch of blue hair above the epigastric furrow is a familiar feature my previous MM metallica had but it is missing on my MF. I would put money on it but then again I have been wrong before ;)
