It looks more like a G. Porteri to me.. You are right though there is a G. Sp North and G. Rosea (sometimes known as red colour form although this is the only true rosea)I could be wrong here but there is a G. Northern and a G. Rosea or Rose and although healthy and good looking it appears to look like a Northern. What was it labeled as when you bought it?
