Really no tarantulas require high temperature, but a couple species can handle cooler temperatures than normal, but only one I would consider a beginner species.

Chromatopelma cyaneopubescens is a good choice, but so is almost any Tlitocatl, Grammostola and Brachyperlma sp

regarding temps, if you are comfortable in a t-shirt, your tarantula will be comfortable, too

Pandinus imperator is pretty much the universal beginner scorpion species

Heterometrus and Hadrurus are fantastic common starters and are pretty cheap! Got a mature sexed female for $20!
