Hi Scott, welcome to the hobby. :) Do you have any thoughts of what you like to begin with?

Welcome aboard Scott. You have already heard from 2 of the best in the business. Please let us know when you have decided on your first tarantula.

Here is the list of the four I'm considering:

Brachypelma albopilosum

Euathlus sp. red

Brachypelma Smithi

Euathlus parvulus

I want a smithi as well.. I don't like terrestrials as much as arboreals but the smithi is a beautiful gentle giant :)

All lovely Ts but as the Euathlus are so very slow growing you may be better getting a Brachypelma to begin with.
