A new member of the family, a young Poecilotheria sp. "lowland" girl arrived on Wednesday.
I named her Avanthi, s Sinhala girl name meaning princess. Sinhalese is an ethnic group native to Sri Lanka where the species originates from.
Why princess? Just because she lazily crawled out from the shipping tube and started grooming as a number one priority
