my t is still in pre molt

hi all my Brazilian giant white knee is still in pre molt she as now been in pre molt for 3 weeks and no sine of her going in to molting on her back she just sits in one area and doe nothing all my others have molted but she is my first Brazilian anyone have any hints on how long this species can take to molt as I do know some species can take a long time

She's not ready...only she knows when. I've had lots of Ts go 6 months or more. Tarantulas teach us patience.

I second @Arachnoclown. Time and time again I learn that I stress for nothing. Just set back and enjoy, when she's ready she will molt.

Yup, no need to stress about a long pre-moult period. Sometimes it's long, sometimes faster - and usually the bigger they get, more energy the process requires. She'll start moulting when her new coat is completely ready and she can crack open her carapace.

thanks for the advice she is about 2 inches in size now so cant wait till she molts to see her as she as gone in to hiding now
