So, I'm thinking about going down to Arizona and maybe trying to capture a few aphonopelma chalcodes. What you all think?

That's not a great idea..first of like @Rs50matt has said theres enough in the hobby already...
secondly whilst in your quest looking for Ts the snakes might find you first:eek:
although I'm sure @LC72uk wouldn't mind if you sent him a few more rattlers:D

Buy a captive breed one. I live in AZ and I could've easily taken a five minute trip to the mountains to find one, but I didn't want to disturb and catch a wild animal and force it into captivity. I got my AF Chalcodes from Net-Bug for $50 plus shipping. She's a beauty and worth every penny.
