I've been considering welding a small jungle gym for my gbb to climb and web on. My question is, would it be toxic? I'd weld it, paint it and then allow it to off gas for several days before putting it in the enclosure

My guess & it is only a guess. Would be that paint is the most likely cause of toxicity. But & again it is only a guess. I would imagine if you use aquarium paint, then that would minimise that risk.

I would stay away from anything metal in my enclosures. No matter how coated it is, it will rust at some point. As for paint.....I'd prolly steer away from that too. I try to use only natural materials in all of my set-ups
