Baby steps for Bella today. I am confident that I can get her to be comfortable enough to walk across my hand first.

Chances are, she won't walk across your hand by herself. Tarantulas don't necessarily enjoy being held, they tolerate it (some, anyway). That being said, you could encourage her by gently touching the back of her abdomen. The more docile species tend to move away from pressure, so lightly touching the back of her abdomen would most likely move her forward. Congrats on your first T!
