Hey guys I made my intro post a few days ago and today I had a day off so I got to work on my tank. I want to get your guys opinion on the tank and if there's anything I should change.

nothing yet, I was looking at a Grammostola pulchra or a Brachypelma auratum. I think the ceiling might be too tall for these two and if so I will block off access to the top.

It would be a perfect size for a juvenile of one of those species. :)

That tank looks kinda large (double doors) what are the dimensions?

That will work for a larger adult, like a GBB that can use the height, but for any other terrestrial the free climbing height is a fall-risk concern.

You can raise the level of the substrate by putting a dam-like extension behind the doors vs restricting height which can impede your too access

What species are you considering?

Grammostola pulchra, I added some more substrate to bring it to level with the doors. Give the tank 6 inches of height from substrate to lid.

Oh 12x12x12 would be good for an adult. It looks smaller in the pic.

Awesome thank you very much! I was looking at purchasing from fear not tarantula's, have you had any experience with this website?
I have purchased from them before! I got a grammostola pulchripes. Hagrid was just a tiny little thing. Very well packaged and came with a full set up and like a weeks supply of food. Fast shipping too. Definitely worth the money ordering from them
