Hi. My name's Andrew.
Ive always found spiders fascinating, but was never one of those kids who would go grabbing bugs. I usually avoided touching them like the plague, but I loved to watch and learn about them.
At some point I stumbled across people on youtube taking care of T's, and got very addicted to watching anything Tarantula related.
And so I finally got my first T in November of 2022. A A.Seemani, which still hasn't bloody moulted!
In the mean time I've gotten 11 more T's. Got a wish list going of T's I'd love to raise up/have. But with only so much room I can only have so many at once. So my experience-ing new tarantula things isn't going as fast as I'd like but oh well. Looking forward to learning more from the form/members.
Thanks for having me

Hello and welcome to the forum, what T's do you have? Are they all new world? I tend not to go for slow growers, only slow growing species I have are Grammostola Pulchripes x2 (although not the slowest in the Genus) and Aphonopelma Chalcodes, they are very docile though and always out on display, they are always the ones I show off 1st lol.

Thank you! I got way more of a welcome then I was expecting. That's so nice.

Let's see in the order I got them
A.seemanni(subadult)
T. Albopilosus(adult) pretty sure female
B. Boehmei (subadult?)
A.Geniculata (got as a ~1" sling it's now sub adult)
P. murinus (got at the same time as the a.gen. same story with this one)
H.Formosus (ended up moulting to be a mm a month after I got it. It just passed after a bit over a year)
A. Sp.Diamondback. (1" initially now about over 2" dls
L.P sling (sling, it's about 2"DLS now)
2 GBB slings (both just shy of a 1" DLS when got them, now the one is a ahead a moult nearing 1½)
B.Emila (sub adult)
And a weeee baby G. Pulchripes (¾" if that, maybe ⅝)

I got the G. Pulchripes for that reason, hoping it'd grow relatively quick! Plus gold! Ooo
I'd love a Chalcodes! They are so pretty.

They are pretty slow growing, but you have some fast growing species, LPs grow really fast.
