I'm new, just so new

I just got my first tarantula today, its a golden knee. I don't know anyone who has ever had one so I've been following bits I find online. I've included a few iffy pics but so far I have zoo med brand coconut fiber substrate about an inch or so deep. I want a better thing for water and I know I need a place for it to hang out. It came with a aquarium rock hideout but it was a bit too big and hollow and deep, thought crickets would be able to hide too well in it. Any tips anybody could throw my way would be much appreciated. Thanks
