How to post Video?

Tried uploading a small MP4 video in the Photo and Video section. However, it appears the Photo and Video section does not allow video. What's up with that?

Probably because the videos are too large. I upload videos on YouTube then share on the sight without any problems.

Gif is not a video format. As a matter of fact, there are no video formats available in the dropdown.

I've had trouble posting videos as well at times. Never tried to upload a vid in that section but tried to in other threads and there's no option. Maybe from what your saying, ironically there isn't that option there either.
The only way I've been able to upload is on the media section.
Though as has been mentioned here you can circumvent it by uploading to YouTube and then copying the link.

I have posted video directly here. It glitches out sometimes but works generally. I could only post about 25 seconds though
