Love is in the air…..
It depends on the species and setup. Both my male irminia and my male regalis lived their whole lives after maturity in the females’ enclosures and both died of old age without even being eaten by the female, even after death. My female LP on the other side will eat even the most convincing male….That is rather a long time isn't it? I always thought it was a fairly quick affair and that the male would be off trying to find new love assuming he was not devoured by the female.
“Quickly” or “quickie? LOL !
