That is rather a long time isn't it? I always thought it was a fairly quick affair and that the male would be off trying to find new love assuming he was not devoured by the female.

It depends on the species and setup. Both my male irminia and my male regalis lived their whole lives after maturity in the females’ enclosures and both died of old age without even being eaten by the female, even after death. My female LP on the other side will eat even the most convincing male….
This morning they are back next to each other :)

Nice that it worked out for them. Keeping the girls fed probably had something to do with it, but certainly also your and Enzo's care for them. Less stress for them I am sure.

Good luck, friend! P. cambridgei are known for double and sometimes triple clutching. My female produced 3 good sacs between molts after pairing! She was a good 7+".
