hi guys/girls so the time has come to rehouse my little H.Pulchripes sling. At the moment it's in a small sealable tupper ware container roughly
3x3x3 inch and the substrate is about 1cm from the top lip of the enclosure .

My plan is to rehouse it in a taller deli style cup.
This is my first attempt at rehousing this since ownership and I will be carrying out the rehousing inside a 12x12x12 Exo terra tank ..

Any tips will be greatly appreciated
:)

No rehousing tonight ! I've just checked on it and it's on its back :)
Last moult date was on the 19th June ..
Give the enclosure a good misting also..

The best advice I can give is keep your fingers away from the sharp end lol.
Since your doing it inside a Eco Terra you could try and coax it to walk from one enclosure to the other using a small brush to guide it or you can just use a catch cup for the transfer or if the old enclosure fits inside the new one then put it inside and let it come out on its own.
Either way good luck I hope all goes well...

Evening Sym,
Oh well you got a reprieve for a couple weeks lol.
It give you more time to work out the best option, just remember that when the time comes that slow movements are best as not to spoke the T into running out on you.....

@Ghost . I think after this moult we will see signs of it being a bad ass :)
It just needs moved out of that shallow enclosure so I know it's not going to bold out.
Excited now to see its new outfit :)

I'm sure after this moult you will start to see even more of its adult colours, your right in getting it moved to a bigger enclosure it gives you more room to work just in case it does turn into a bad ass lol,
My H.mac slings are little buggers at the moment they give me more trouble than my adult female.......
