Some do seem to like sitting in the water, in fact I've had some that like to moult in there.

I know it's a completely different tarantula but my old Chile rose used to love a swim! Had to put a small dog bowl in her enclosure as she kept spilling all the water out of her original bowl

Can't see anything on the T, so long as she hasn't taken a fall I wouldn't worry to much.
