GBB molt sex

Man, how do yall take good molt photos? Its so hard!
Anyway - this is my gbb, its about 1 inch long at this point. I'm thinking male but I'm no expert.

If these shots aren't good enough please let me know. I'll just wait til the next molt!

No, it is not easy. The area to look at is not clear. Can you try to take another one that is more focused in this area?

It can sometimes be helpful to gently backlight or underlight the molt as well so that the colors of it are more pronounced. maybe even a short video?
