Feeding Superworms

Hey.. I have 5 slings, and a friend of mine gave me 14 superworms. Is it okay to feed tomatoes to the superworms? I use rice grains for their substrate if that's fine.. I think I did something stupid here..

Haven't heard or read anything saying not to use a tomatoe for food. Plenty of moisture in those. Just make sure it's washed to remove any pesticides or herbicides.

You can feed superworms virtually any veggie or grains. Make sure they're nice and gutloaded to give the most nutrition to your T's.

I give my roaches pizza hut pizza sometimes.. So in a sense, my spiders like pizza. That's serious gutloading right there.

Tomatoes belong to the nightshade family, I would avoid them. Use Apple's, carrots, cabbage, spinach.

Yeah for the most part mine get high protein dog food ground up, and bananas, and apples. But they enjoy a nice piece of pizza occasionally.
