Feeding question

If they have some kind of den or web hide, and you see feet sticking out that’s usually a pretty reliable tell. Also, if their abdomen is over twice the size of their carapace, they might be hungry but might not need to eat.

If they pounce at me through the plastic, I tend to say 'I'm not food!' then try feeding them :p I assume they sensed my movement through the floor and thought I was a roach. My GBB and A. geniculata have both done that.

However in my experience I've found it can be hard to tell. E.g. Below is a video of Occamy seemingly in slow-motion mode ;) >

And here is a pic of Rufus, he was still sat like this about 20 mins later. I think he was saying 'I am hungry.... but only if it falls into my fangs and I don't have to move' >
