    Some of them are also kept as pets, just like tarantulas but the animal itself is quite different.

    Lol! Old thread but I had to laugh! It's happened to me plenty of times! Usually it's when I try to catch them on the wall with a jar and they jump onto your face! Instantly you can make karate moves that would shame Bruce Lee!

    My wife however just picks them up and carries them to the garden, she thinks it's funny that I'm getting into tarantulas.

    Some huntsmans out the other night, one in the kitchen and one in the loungeroom. The one in the kitchen was immediately into a jumping pose as soon as I got near it, then the flash was really freaking it out. If you look you can see by the shadows that it is standing off the wall ready to jump if I came closer. hm 1.JPG hm 2.JPG hm 3.JPG hm 4.JPG
