I never see any leftover “bodies” after my T finishes eating. I thought they just suck up the insides. Is he playing mortuary and burying them? He does have a very healthy appetite.

Usually the bolus (the remnants of the prey) is left somewhere in the enclosure. Sometimes they even drop them in the water dish. I suppose it depends on the type of prey you feed them. When I feed crickets or dubia roaches there's always a bolus. When I feed red runners or meal worms there's never a bolus.

Tarantulas use their fangs to crush their prey rather than suck them dry, the remains are more of a small ball of crushed up shell or legs. They usually throw them into the corners of the enclosure furthest from its hide, as they are rather clean critters.
