Cold house

So I am looking into getting a chameleon possibly a panther chameleon (nosy be) anyways are house is rather cold especially at night im curious if this effect the chameleon or as long as the cage itself has those temperatures will it be fine?

If you are using an all glass enclosure, it would be fine. If you are using a screen enclosure, it may be a problem as the heat would escape the tank and it would be closer to the overall room temperature.

You may be able to combat the heat issue with a ceramic heat emitter. That would emit heat but not light during nighttime hours... With a screened cage it will be hard to keep them warm... You'll have to get creative.

CHE, seconded..

But seeing you have the nosy be locality cham then they're pretty tough handling low nighttime temps seeing that Madagascar drops to 40-50F during their winter season.
