Does anybody have experiences with a b. Baum. Are they a passive species? What’s a reasonable price for a juvenile? Do they require any special housing? Appetite? Any info would be great.
Like most Brachypelma juveniles they are skittish or jumpy. They calm with age but still like to throw hairs.Housing is the same as all Brachypelma's. Your looking at $60-$100 for a juvenile depending on who has it. Expos are usually a good place to get a cheap one. Here's a picture of mine that just finished molting.
