Black spot on carapace

Just noticed a black dot on the carapace of my G. Rosea. I've had her several years. And she has some weird fuzz looking stuff on her abdomen. Doesn't look like her other hairs. (Yes got a few water drops on her while filling her dish...it splash a little. She didnt care.) Any ideas?

I see the water droplets, but I don't see anything out of the ordinary other than that. When did she molt last?

Oh it has been at least 2 years since she molted last. She isn't a young girl.

Sometimes the fuzzy fluffy looking stuff is just urticating hairs...shes probably rubbing them off in her burrow or whatnot to prepare for her molt soon.

Mine has the same spots on her abdomen. I was worried it might be mites or something but from what I’ve seen of other Rose ahairs, I guess it’s normal .

Mites usually hang around the fangs and mouth...looks like a patch of urticating hairs to me.

I try and stay away from the fangs and mouth! When she decides to eat, she grabs the cricket and rises up on her legs and does a circular “dance”. I call it her “happy dance”! It’s pretty cool to watch.
