Received a starter colony of bean weevils recently and wondered on people's thoughts on them. To keep they are very easy. But they felt very hard and didn't know if they could damage a slings fangs.

They're a great size for them but I'm hesitant

How did you get on with them? As I am thinking of getting some for my praying Mantis & maybe also for the slings.

How were they as food, did they get eaten? I am finding that my Mantids are not overly keen on maggots & thought I might try some weevils as an alternative.

Got on really well with them. Still have the same culture. Did buy some from spider shop this week just to add another “bloodline” as such. Slings do go for them and I prefer them to cricket parts.
