Baby oil?

No it's not for mating. I'm wondering if putting some on the top of the enclosure and on the lid would prevent me from tearing the webbing when I go to feed.

They have a endless supply of webbing plus they need something to do anyways. I always tear it down where i dont want it ( like on the lid or doors). They will stop after a while and web up other areas. ;)
I've noticed this as well. Its direct evidence that tarantulas can learn, despite the lie repeated endlessly that they can't.

Also, my pulchra bit me, and I slapped the **** out of her, and she hasn't done it again.
