Hi! My Brachypelma Hamorri spends loads of time in the evenings and at night climbing the walls of her enclosure. Shes now started hanging off the roof. I have no idea why because she’s a terrestrial spider. We keep her temp no lower than about 20 degrees Celsius and humidity about 50-70%. She’s eating really well and during the day usually just sits in one place. Is she just doing this because she’s exploring? Or is something wrong with her set up that I can change. She never hides, digs or uses her burrow. The space between the substrate and roof of the enclosure is no larger than her leg span. (Ignore the damp section of soil in the picture. It has now fully dried out).

Add more substrate on the top of the cork bark and on the sides of the enclosure. Dig out a deeper burrow, make sure to use a plastic spoon and vinyl gloves for easy disposal. This is to make sure no hairs get on your skin, otherwise you're in for an itchy situation.
