Dang, I am behind on this forum lol.

Lots is sold and unavailable on this list.
I will however, have 30+ Juvie D. diamantinensis in a few weeks.

As for the T seladonia issue at hand. My personal opinion? -
It's a crock of shi*.
I'll make it plain and simple honestly-

USFW has never released anything.

If they are illegal to sell state side, then that’s because of The Lacy Act right? Because they are endemic to Brazil and Brazil’s borders are closed. Right?

Well, why is everyone else selling other Brazil endemics like G iheringi, actaeon, geniculata, bumba cabocla, Cyriocosmus bicolor, bertae, D diamantinesis, E uatuman, G pulchra, LPS, THE ENTIRE LASIODORA GENUS, Nhundu genus, so on and so forth.

Because those would fall under The Lacey Act also wouldn’t they? Yet they are for sell, everywhere.

So where’s the argument.

I agree 100%. I wondered the same thing, myself, while selling nhandu's and pulchras. It didn't even cross my mind when I sold those....I am going off of what other vendors/bloggers have said about the sales of T. seladonia. It should apply to all Brazilian species instead of just one in particular. If that's the case, there are a **** ton of folks, including myself, that are in violation of USFWs terms on this. Not that it was intentional....just when you see everyone else selling them like it's no one's business it kinda slips your mind. I was going to sell T. seladonia until I read someone's post about it being illegal so I updated my post. :( I am definitely interested in some D. diamantinensis when available. :)

I know of 5 or 6 vendors whom have sold T seladonia across the USA just this year. lol
I think that as long as everyone avoids Import/Exportation of them, then interstate sales are fine.

But it is crazy that when all this happened, and that they tried to make it stick, with only the argument that it falls under The Lacey Act, because they are Brazil Endemics.

Well... So are these... yet a ton of them are still selling on every major vendors lists, still (Brazilian Endemic species list, below)
.
Doesn't make sense to me. Everyone wants to do this the right, honorably, and the correct way, so we try to go by the guidebooks that USFW place for us. However, if they aren't even sure about the correct way, what do they expect us to do? Guess?

What I do for imports, is research every single species on our documents. If they are strictly Brazil endemics, they go off our list. If they are Brazil endemic, but are also found in partner countries surrounding Brazil, I locate legal exportation documents for that specific species, and include the permits within the import.
Example: (and this is based off of EXACTLY WHAT USFW TOLD ME)

Theraphosa blondi
Distribution: Venezuela, Brazil, Guyana

Being that these are found in Brazil, I had to find documented proof, that this species was legally exported out of Guyana and into Germany, print that import paper work out, and include it in my import. That was the only way they would let me bring them in.
How silly huh.

Sorry for the rant. But I wanted to share a bit of information with everyone.
