Yea it's been a little dry here. I keep an eye on her humidity and keep her substrate sprayed. It dries out pretty fast this time of year. Thanks!

Yea she's either in her hide or she likes to sit on top of her water bowl. Her water bowl is only 4" wide but she covers that with her legs close in close. I'm wanting to get a good measurement, just need to catch her in a good spot. Lol

Yea I haven't been able to get an accurate measurement. But I am guessing that DLS is about 8".

Was hoping she would come out soon so I could get a pic of her. She's been in hiding for a little over 3 weeks now. Here's a before and after molt pic. Here is my Female Theraphosa blondi.

Now I will be happy when she finally comes out of her hiding so I can take a new pic of her. She looks a lot darker than before her molt. She's eating good though. Looking forward to seeing how big she is now. Lol

My Goliath molted within the last couple days. I was sold a female but I'm not good with sexing. Looks like might be female.

I tried taking the best pics I could. Don't know if I'm showing the right area but tried to stretch and turn to get what pics I have. This is the recent molt off my Goliath. Hopefully someone here can tell me the sex. Thanks, Bobby

Thanks guys! I'll just wait til it molts. Thanks for the info on the age. The daughter caught this in the backyard not too long after I sprayed insecticide. So I set up an enclosure for it and seems to be doing fine.
