My little C. Versicolor just molted for the third time and I'm wondering if I could start pinning up her molts. If not what do you use to preserve their molts if at all possible?

10-23-17 Sling molted in my sleep again. I await the day where I can finally watch one of my tarantulas molt.

I wish I had a better camera to be able to show how vibrantly blue it is. Its been a good four days since molt and its still this magnificent blue. Ps. I was rehousing.

While transferring the little guy into a slightly larger deli cup he decided to crawl all over me.

Is there supposed to be a bottom??? I was told its fine if its simply just the bottom of the tote!

As an artist I really want to start illustrating my tarantulas but I have absolutely no clue on how to go about it. It seems theres no tutorials on how to draw them and none of my artist friends like tarantulas... I'm going in at it alone.

I am having the hardest time distinguishing the differences. Everyone tells me the red setaes means an avic avic and the silver means an avic metallica yet have been unable to identify if mine is even an avic avic or an avic metallica. Quite frustrating.

But doesnt red setaes mean that its an avicularia avicularia?

Haha Yeah thats why I want to focus on a good camera phone that way I don't have to set anything up when my babies come out in the light.
