Patience is a virtue, I present my wonderful juvie C. Laeta. She (I hope it is a she) is hard to photograph. This is its final blue stage unfortunately after this nothing but brown

Another nice surprise, my C. Laeta has come out to say hello! I wish I could get a picture of its topside the gorgeous blue of its sling stage is nearly gone, replaced by a orangish/brown coloring.

Nice little come home from work present. After last nights picture I was wondering why the A. seemanni was out in the open. I now have my answer. Viola!

    Long Time Since Last Post

So it has been a while, about 4 months since my last post and I lost the last thread. Mostly because of rl stuff going on. I have some updates on my T's finally. For those of you who remember me, my C.versicolor lost both palps and its left front-most leg in a bad molt. Glad to say it is doing...

    So I went for it!

    C. laeta is currently molting looks like I called the "any day now" correctly.

    So I went for it!

3 molts today, all must have happened while I was at work. Unfortunately I have no pictures, my camera is in the shop because the focus and flash stopped working. My tiny little A. Seemanni is not so tiny anymore it has jumped up quite a bit. My T. albopilosus is much larger and is way harrier...

Asking for help identifying this spider (brown recluse?)

That looks like an American Grass Spider (Agelenopsis spp.)

    So I went for it!

I stuck the dead roach above the water dish and if you look, you can see a leg where the spider used brute force with its legs and fangs to drag it up. Picture is blurry because spider is moving : /. The light blue object next to the moss in the middle of the cork bark, is its worthless leg that...

    So I went for it!

I saved the spider from death! It is missing both pedipalps and a front leg. I cannot believe I was able to save this spider with so little loss. Picture is its first meal ( just now) since its rescue.

    So I went for it!

Very sad morning :(. At some point during the night my C. versicolor tried to molt and got stuck and died. I have no idea how such a small sling got stuck, but from looking at its position it looks like it didn't have enough pushing force to do the job. Super upset as this is my favorite...

    So I went for it!

Came home from work and checked the spider room because tomorrow is feeding night and I wanted to gut load some roaches of differing sizes. As I was looking over the enclosures I noticed that my G. pulchra has completely sealed w/ substrate both entrances to its hide. This spider never even used...

    So I went for it!

Didn't even need to wait a week, figured I would try again after a few days. I decided I would try something new. I have self modified Jamie enclosures and if you know her enclosures the spiderling/juvenile arboreal open from the bottom. I usually flip the top over to feed. Tonight I decided to...

    So I went for it!

I think you are 100% right. I came home from work and the roach is still doing circles around the substrate. I pulled it and will try again in a week. Just confusing me that it definitely is acting hungry but doesn't want food.

    So I went for it!

So I went to feed the new arrivals tonight. G. pulchra and A. seemanni ate with gusto. A. seemanni even took down a roach that was a little too large for its tiny 1/2" frame. I imagine it will take quite a while for it to finish that one off. However, when I went to feed the C. versicolor it...
