Ohh I see... Guess I made her vulnerable. Her two long front legs didn't have any place to step on, and once she was already on my hand I was kinda panicking cause her fangs were in deep lol. Thank you. My bad, should've let her walk on my palm instead.
Hi,
So early this morning I was about to clean my baby's (Chaco around 2") enclosure. When I do this I let her climb to my hand first and move her to a different container and it always went smoothly. But what happened this morning was she was climbing on my hand then she was sinking her fangs...
There goes my colony... Found them all dead when I checked them today... And the walls are littered with fly eggs.
I don't get it. How do they die when overfed? I have this habit of just leaving them with a small pile of cat food.
Edit: Can I feed my babies meal worms instead?
Hi guys.
I have a rather populated colony of lats that I keep in an aquarium. Where do you keep yours?
Also I think I'm having a problem with flies on that aquarium. I noticed that at the top there are a lot of fly eggs.Do you have tips on how to avoid having the aquarium infested with those...
It's been two months since I tried to have my baby's gender checked. Please help me determine if he's a he or a she, if it is possible now that he / she is around 2"

Finally found her after searching high and low. From the highest crack on the wall to the lowest sliver of space I could peek in. Turns out she's just on the third level of the drawer where her enclosure sits. Lesson learned, never underestimate their ability to squeeze through small spaces.
I woke up this morning to find my sling missing from her enclosure. Any ideas on where runaway tarantulas go off to hide? Checked every space near her enclosure, can't find her.
