Lol who can be sure. I know my interest was rekindled when Leon mentioned he had land snails. I know that Achatina fulica are one of the most common ones kept in captivity. I believe they grow to be one of the biggest too. Perhaps you can start there on when your looking into them.
Yeah you're def right. It bugs me when people release not native species into the wild. Look what the pythons in the everglades are doing. Overrunning the ecosystem :/ But anyways, what kind of snails are you looking at?
You say nothing in the house has changed, but have you recently changed the substrate or moved anything out of place in the enclosure? Also, is she due for another molt soon? Back when I first kept Ts I had a fire leg that got real ansty and skiddish before a molt.
Fungus can be a problem. Is there any mold growing in the enclosure. If not, then I don't see why the mold would grow on the T first unless its some kind of diff fungus I havent encountered yet. Also, how long has the white spot been there?
