Waifs? Idk if that was a typo or not but I'm totally using that one from now on friend lmao In return, I just really enjoy the intricacies it takes for the more sensitive species.

Look at these wot my mum did :)

I wasn't aware Tarantula Cribs or Haus was shipping outside the US, I had seen Tyler had done a collab with Haus on enclosures, but I just thought they were only in the US.

    Test your Might!

I'm 99% sure of the sex, after discussing the specimen with a couple of people we really enjoyed how the two photos could really cause even those with extensive experience to second guess themselves, as you said lol overall it's just for fun, I'll post the next molt once the ecdysis process...

    Test your Might!

So I've raised inverts for a while, and it may be a bit nerdy but hey, we collect Tarantulas lol we're in a whole genre of our own right!! Anyways, I really enjoy this kind of situation, but it's not often I run into a good one like this, so I thought it would be fun for those experienced and...

First photo didn't attach? Here's the original size. About the size of a dimple in a napkin. One I measured at 3/32 of an inch! The other photo a few months later shows it attached in the above message. Again, hope this helps.

Anything under 3/4" I keep in #25 or #50 dram vials with very little foliage and a starter burrow. Elegans usually get a little smaller one because they're around 1/16 to an 1/8" after 2N, they will dig though! If they don't something is up. The G. pulchra I've noticed really don't, but if...

    Hello everyone!! New T owner…

Congratulations on your 1st! I like the set up! I usually keep mine more enclosed, less highth to protect from falls, and smaller hides to just a tad bit above their actual size, they seem to adjust to it really well, and rather quickly. Most find it, dig it out, and settle right in.

Is it too soon to sex? B. emilia

Looks male, your molt is going to be the most definitive way to identify, and at 2" thats a good size to sex, even without a scope, usually. Love the Brachypelma! Great Great choice! Congratulations on your first

    Im worried about my tarantula…

I would do it sooner than later, either way its still new territory in her/his eyes. Then again you can wait, see if she adapts to it the way it is, and at that point it's better if you just leave it the way it is. The less you disturb them after they've settled in the better.

    Im worried about my tarantula…

Looking at your photos it looks like your hide is sitting more on top of the substrate with make it very open. It looks like the Tarantula is trying to find a place to hide. So if it were me I'd either cut the hide in half, or bury it more so it's not as open. When they try and find somewhere to...

What to do with darkling beetle?

That's pretty awesome, seems pretty clean too the way you have it set up

    Some concerns about enclosure

I'd go with the black top also, mostly because they do have the tendency to grow pretty quickly. As far as substrate, definitely 2-3" at least, they seem to like to get in there as soon as they find the hide and completely dig it out and redecorate. I get substrate from Biodude, it doesn't...
