She's not taken food since early last month before the symptoms started. If she's drinking it's from whatever she gets when I place her face over the dish every few days. The wicking I think was a mistake. She twitches a bit from stimuli and may have knocked a bit into the dish.
I replaced the...
Will do! In the meantime, I'm going to replace all the soil and rinse the plants in her enclosure. Perhaps there was some residual pesticides on her plants. This isn't the one she's currently in BTW, I have her in a much smaller sling box so she can reach water and not injure herself on decore.
I agree, only had to take her out as she had pushed her moss into the water dish and soaked the entire enclosure. I don't want her sitting on soaking wet substrate either.
She's only a few years old. She was still juvenile when I got her a year ago. And yes, that's who I read the info from. It's possible she was exposed to flea treatment but, I've noticed similar symptoms in my pink toe and one sling but they were never near the cats. I've since moved all of the...

Not sure if she's come out yet but, I'm laughing cuz I had the exact same situation going on. My female hid in her skull for 4 months and wouldn't eat XD. She was fasting and just taking her time to molt. She'll come out eventually and be stunning for sure ^.^
My GBB was my first tarantula and I love her. Always out and about or visible, beautifully colored. Feeding her is great too, her takedowns are amazing! This is her chilling in broad day light.
I got one of those kits they sell with a screen lid. It's taller than wide. It's what I have so far but, I'm not happy with it. Seems cramped :(. I may get a 10 gallon and convert it. What do y'all think?
So, I was at Petco with my sister to get some cat litter and what not. I figured I'd look in their critter section out of curiosity but, I didn't expect much since they usually only have some beardies, hermits and maybe a ball python. Well, surprise! They had 3 tarantulas, Avicularia avicularia...
