My mad camera skillz on display
I purposefully focused detail on the edge of the flower pot just to throw everyone off.

Baby got premolt? lol seriously. She's grown tired of me watching her like an overly obsessive bipolar mother hen, so it's speak to the rear!! Meanwhile my mealworms have pupated, and I'm keeping uneaten Dubia Roaches alive. I might even name them, just to laugh in an insane voice after she regains her appetite and devours......Casey and George.

LOL Yes it's a young Texas Brown. I haven't messed with my Canon Rebel EOS t3i DSLR in quite awhile. I forgot how to use a lot of the different settings to focus on particular objects. I'll work on being a better photographer! The camera has been packed away in my closet for two years. In this photo you can just make out the tan/blonde carapace. She's been shy lately, because of premolt, or maybe a natural fasting cycle. I wonder if they do that in the winter. This photo gives the best indication of her true color morph. My other photos had bad artificial lighting that made her look like an Arizona blonde.

From what I understand they plug their burrows up in winter and stay there. Idk. Plenty to read online about them.
