Yep. I missed my first T. vagans, Raymond (he matured out into a male and then broke his pedipalps off as if he knew I wanted to pair him but he didn't want to get eaten) so I had to get another one after he died. I have a soft spot for cheeky tarantulas.
I think some of the cheapest T's are some of the most beautiful in my opinion. My personal favorite example is the G. pulchripes, the purple sheen on the chelicerae and carapace, plus the golden yellow markings on the legs make for a magnificent spider
