I know it’s not Amaurobius ferox or fennestrialis because the patterning is different so I just put it as Amaurobius sp., it could even be Callobius benetti but the patterning once again is different.
I caught this little sling as it was scurrying across the sidewalk. It is definitely a Hacklemash (Callobius sp.) or Black Lace Weaver (Amaurobius sp.). Identifying it for sure is really difficult because there are hundreds of species and they are both in the same family.
