A. Henzi just relaxing in her clean cage.

I haven't been able to come up with a proper name yet. Brownie! that sounds original. I named my rosehair Rose. Her main features: Attacks large prey items like she's a T. Blondi. Thera! Theia was an actual titan in greek mythology, so that sounds appropriate, because she eats like a titan.
Theia, Titan Goddess of the A. Hentzi tarantula species. I'm waiting on a mealworn pupa to hatch into a beetle, because that abdomen doesn't look to much darker than normal. It may be that she just hates Dubia Roaches. I hate them, because they try to burrow, which is why I have some long overdue tongs on the way, I'll see if she takes the food that way. She's taken a fully grown American ****roach without flinching. The small mealworms didn't warrant a reaction until they burrowed underneath her. She attempted to dig them up. I'm leaving her alone for a couple of weeks anyhow. Then we'll go from there. Last winter there was no change in appetite, just continued feasting.
