[QUOTE="jacob bott, post: 120424, member: 26984"] So I got my first tarantula about a week ago, it was a B. Smithi. And I am pretty sure they are supposed to make a burrow, it has not burrowed yet. It has a half log that is goes in a lot. I don't know if a log is a substitute for a burrow. The substrate is around 3-4 inches deep, I know this isn't enough and I have more I'm going to put in it probably tomorrow. It hasn't dug at all anywhere. Also it is around 4 inches, I'll post a picture. Anyways someone please let me know if he's fine or whatever the reason he's not burrowed yet is. And let alone my use of he or him, it's unsexed.
