Tarantula Cabinet?

I keep my home at 74 degrees, thinking about buying or building a cabinet for better temp control. I have green tree pythons, so have extra thermostats and heat tape to run along the back for better temp control.. Any ideas?

Here's what I did: I converted a small bookcase to a T cabinet. Cabinet is 30x40x12 inches with a shelf in middle. Made simple removable plywood boxes lined with flexible radiant barrier (roll of it from Home Depot, hot glued it in). I taped seedling (not reptile) mats along back with foil HVAC tape. Made sliding plexiglass doors (with plastic track from Amazon) to help hold the heat in. I plugged the heat mats into a thermostat just to be safe but I don't think they heat up as much as other heat mats.

The plywood boxes are not attached to the bookcase so I can turn it back to a bookcase any time. I screwed the plastic door tracks in with tiny screws so they'd be pretty easy to remove without damaging the bookcase too much .

I had a lot of vivariums left from keeping snakes so I use these to keep my smaller T containers in as I have 5 cats and they love to chase crickets and would soon knock the Ts over. The 2nd vivarium down contains my Royal Python whose ceramic heater keeps the top vivarium warm. The bottom 2 vivariums have heat mats along the back.

curious why you want better temp control if your T room stays around 74? that's a fine temp for almost all species.
