My son's Brachypelma hamorii (smithi), Popo, has always been an oddity when she moults. As a tiny sling she would just flip over wherever she happened to be, I've seen her moult in the tightest of corners, rarely laying a moult mat.

Last night I found her flipped over on her cork bark

This morning I found her all done apparently with a friend.

The exo removed. I've never seen an exo that isn't scrunched up before

Does anyone else have a T that moults in odd way or place.

Yeah I was the first couple of times, I get nervous when any of them moult though they just seem so vulnerable... That's a gorgeous T btw :)

Thank you. Even though she's my son's she's always been my favourite of the 2 hamorii, just full of character even though she was the smallest of the 2.

My B. hamoriii molts right in front of it's hide, every time. Guess it thinks the tripwire mat it's laid out is good enough for a molt mat.
