i was just wondering. how long does it take for G. pulchripes, B. albo, B. vagans slings to grow around .5-1 inch in leg span? they are all .75-1cm right now.

My brachys, chromatus, and pulchiripes have been slow growers, not gaining a heck of a lot of size with each molt. My geniculata and parahybana on the other hand grow like crazy.

My current B.vagans was around 1inch when I got her dec. 9th, she is now right under 3inch.
My G.pulchripes went from 1/2inch to about an inch from dec. 9th to the beginning of feb.(she sadly passed).
I've only raised a couple B.albos, but got pretty quick growth results as well...
I keep my slings around 75 to 77 or so in the daytime, around 72 at night, I usually feed them 2 or 3 times a week, with constant water droplets available for drinking.

growth rate is only determined by factors such as temperature and humidity. higher the temp the faster the metabolic rate and the spider will have a much bigger appetite to feed more frequently than one that is in a cooler environment. water is essential to all spiders and should have access to it at all times. that should be just fine.
