I may have to start with a tiny tiny sling like those cute ones above. They just don't seem as threatening when they're that small! Anyone else agree?

definitely. they are very entertaining to watch as well and easy to deal with.

I prefer to buy slings. even if they turn out to be male you still have a great pet for a few years and they are very funny. I get a lot of pleasure watching them grow.

In regards to keeping a King my biggest hurdle will be convincing my hubby that a 9" T isn't THAT much different than a 5" T other than enclosure size.... ;P
