Sac 3 have all had their first moult and are moving around inside the cocoon. Even the ones that had dropped down haven't been neglected by mum, she's reinforced the web round them and at least one has moulted. It'll be around 3 weeks before they emerge from the cocoon.

Sac 3 babies have begun to emerge from the cocoon today so now begins the challenge of keeping them alive.

I have just rehoused 12 of the babies into individual vials as I did with the 1st sac.

you should sell them online. $5 or $10 a pop would get you a pretty penny or 2.

I sold most of the survivors from the 1st sac for £10 (around $13) but I may keep these a bit longer to give them a better chance.

The total babies that emerged from the 3rd sac was 17 but 6 have already died.

The 2 babies that I kept from the 1st sac are doing well, both now eating small crickets rather than pinheads. I rehoused both today.

Quincey, is still quite small so has just been rehoused to a clean vial

Tampa on the other hand has grown considerably and has moved into a 3" cube

Wow! Tampa is a beast haha! The little one ya sent me is still going strong! I think he's gonna make it to maturity :) Fingers crossed for them all!

You're right Tampa is a monster, Quincey is less than half its size. Having got yours to this stage it should do ok. I just hope I can keep some of the 3rd sac going.

Sadly I lost all of the sac 3 babies and then Quincey from sac 1 died 2 days ago. On the bright side Tampa has moulted again a couple of days ago and is currently chomping on a cricket.
